Admissions Step by Step

Beacon House currently offers Outpatient Treatment Programs as well as Residential Support Housing!

Admissions Step by Step:  


Go to the Admissions link in the top menu bar.

1. Fill out the online Admission form or printable pdf version. 


2. Fill out the Verification of Benefits. 

Call us or fill out our confidential online form to verify your insurance coverage. Most plans cover the majority of treatment costs, whereas others might require a small out-of-pocket fee.


3. A Clinical assessment 

An assessment helps us understand how substance use or mental health issues have impacted and may currently be affecting your life. It also guides us in determining the appropriate level of services and most beneficial treatment interventions for you.  Your Level of Care treatment is based on the clinical assessment of risk levels defined by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).


4. Treatment Plan

After the Level of Care is determined by the Clinical Assessment, your treatment plan will be created to assist you with your needs!

 

Entering Residential Support Housing / What to Bring

To maintain a safe environment here is a list of allowed vs not allowed

 

Items your 'Allowed' to bring into Residential Support Housing:

  • Personal toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, mouthwash, body lotion, sunscreen, etc. All items must be alcohol and propellant-free (pump-style only). We provide towels, bedding & cooking utensils. 
  • Appropriate Clothing, Please try to limit to 2 bags or suitcases, as you will be sharing a room and closet.
  • Prescribed medications, clearly labeled in the original prescription bottle. Medication will be stored in personal lockers onsite. Medication Checks are required. 
  • Identification
  • Photos
  • Magazines and Books (no pornographic material of any kind)
  • Envelopes and Stamps
  • Hobbies: We want you to feel comfortable in continuing to be active with your hobby in a healthy way while in our program. You may bring any musical instrument, scrap booking materials, sketch pads, etc.


 

Items your 'Not Allowed' to bring into Residential Support Housing:

  • Toiletries and/or cosmetics that contain alcohol
  • Contraband or Weapons of any kind
  • Do not bring valuables. Beacon House is not responsible for loss or theft of any item during your stay. 
  • Any pornographic material
  • Drugs and/or Alcohol. All medications will be stored in clients personal locker at all times. Medication checks are required.
  • Candles and/or air fresheners

OUTPATIENT TREATMENT

Our Outpatient Treatment services are determined by the clients Level of Care.

Level of Care is determined by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). Our General Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient and Day Treatment (HIOP) along with our Recovery Housing offer a supportive path to recovery. 


Following your Clinical assessment and enrollment into our program, you will be able to participate in our treatment services.
