RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT

Beacon House now offers Residential Treatment—a structured, 24-hour therapeutic environment designed for adults who require a higher level of care than outpatient or supportive housing services. Located at 60 S Main St #6 in Tooele, Utah, our residential program fills a critical gap in rural Tooele County by providing safe, supportive, and clinically intensive treatment for individuals struggling with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health challenges, and related behavioral health conditions.

Program Highlights Include:

• 24/7 Supervised Residential Care — Round-the-clock support in a nurturing, home-like setting that promotes healing, accountability, and long-term recovery.
• ASAM-Aligned Levels of Care — Building on our established ASAM 1.0, 2.1, and 2.5 outpatient services, residential treatment provides the next step for those needing more structure and intensity (typically ASAM Level 3.1–3.5).
• Evidence-Based & Trauma-Informed Therapies — Individual and group behavioral therapy, cognitive restructuring to address addictive thinking, relapse prevention planning, stress and anger management, life skills development, and interpersonal skills training.
• Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) — On-site medication management and monitoring (including options like Suboxone, Subutex, or Naltrexone when clinically appropriate) integrated with counseling.
• Comprehensive Support Services — Clinical diagnostic assessments, substance use screening and monitoring, case management, care coordination, discharge/transition planning, peer support, and recovery skills training focused on rebuilding relationships, creating sober support networks, and improving daily functioning and self-sufficiency.
• Holistic & Personalized Approach — Physical exams within the first week, motivational enhancement, drug testing, and trauma-informed interventions. Our licensed and certified professionals tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, risk level, and goals.
• Seamless Continuum of Care — Easy step-up from our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP/HIOP/GOP) or step-down into our state-licensed Residential Support Housing / sober living. Clients experience continuity with the same caring team throughout their recovery journey.

Who We Serve:Adults (men and women) with moderate to severe SUD, co-occurring mental health disorders, or those who have not succeeded in lower levels of care. We accept referrals from hospitals, ERs, outpatient providers, courts, and self-referrals. Medicaid-eligible clients are welcome, and we work with most major insurance plans.
